Case studies

The Network produced case studies to provide an in-depth description of particularly promising service models/policy interventions across the countries represented in the Network.

The case studies focused on innovative long-term care schemes aimed at improving cost-effectiveness at system level and managing the increasing demand for formal long-term care. Their purpose was to highlight promising innovative policy measures/ service models with a view to promoting learning between countries that will be of value to policy-makers by elucidating specific successful practices in different contexts. Furthermore, the case studies provide insights into possible transferability of these models/interventions into other contexts.
